Ashkon sings "Don't Stop Believin'"

The World Series has inspired many Giants fans to express their fanaticism through music. DJs, YouTube celebs, established mainstream musicians and underground rappers alike have all hit the studio to create their own Giants Anthems. Not surprisingly, they’ve all become huge hits with Giants fans.

Bay Area actor and musician Ashkon Davaran turned into a YouTube sensation when his Giants inspired cover of Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin’” became a hit with fans. In just two weeks Ashkon’s music video for the track received over one million views and undoubtedly turned into the unofficial Giants postseason anthem.

Following the success of his Journey cover, Ashkon posted another recording on YouTube. His latest is a cover of a Rick Ross track that pays homage to Giants MVP Cody Ross.

Far East Movement ft. Dev & The Cataracs “Like A G-Men”

Club 997′s very own DJ E-Rock was also inspired to put his own Giants twist on the hottest track out right now. E-Rock took Far East Movement’s smash hit “Like A G6″ and transformed it into “Like A G-Men” after an e-mail conversation with a friend. The two brainstormed ways to give back to the Giants community. After their discussion, E-Rock ran the idea past FM, Dev and The Cataracs. A few days later another Giants anthem was born.

Michael Franti & Spearhead “Say Hey (I Love You) – Giants Version”

Bay Area bred musician Michael Franti took his hit track “Say Hey (I Love You)” and reworked the lyrics to pay tribute to his favorite team. He’s was actually born in Oakland but we won’t hate on him for liking the Giants more than the A’s.

Bailey ft. Barry Bonds “Black and Orange”

Bay Area rapper Bailey takes a sound bite from former Giants team member Barry Bonds, mixes it with hip-hop it-boy [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Wiz Khalif[/lastfm]a’s “Black and Yellow” beat to create “Black and Orange” in honor of his hometown team.
