Chris Brown‘s day may have gotten off to a rough start. The troubled R&B singer’s visit to Good Morning America took [photogallerylink id=103637] a dramatic turn when host Robin Roberts poked at the singer to reveal deets about the current status of the Rihanna assault case. Brown reportedly threw a fit after the interview aired, which included shattering his dressing room window.
This morning’s incident set a dark cloud over a day that was supposed to be full of new beginnings for Chris. Not only was he set to promote today’s release of his new album F.A.M.E. but he was also gearing up to premiere the video for his newest track “Beautiful People” on MTV’s The Seven. His appearance on the show was cancelled following this morning’s events.
Despite this morning’s already widely publicized setback, Brown seemingly moved forward with promotion for his album. He sat down with MTV to talk about “Beautiful People.”. “It wasn’t a selfish record, it wasn’t me bragging or boasting or talking about cars or money or girls,” says Brown of the Benny Bennassi-produced track. “It was me being able to inspire people with dance music. We have a lot of tragic things going on and the world needs to come together as a whole and stop the negativity.” The people over at GMA might want to take Brown’s words of advice to heart.
The video for “Beautiful People” features candid never before seen studio, performance and downtime footage. Many of Brown’s famous friends appear in the video including Brandy, Omarion, Nelly, Bow Wow, Game, Swizz Beatz, Pharrell, T-Pain, Timbaland and more.
