It doesn’t take the power of someone like the president to help the people of tornado ravaged Joplin Missouri. The drama department at Fremont High School in Sunnyvale are proof of that. They will be performing a one night only show, with funds of all seats sold going to help high school students in Joplin.
Fremont High School teacher Billy Houck saw an opportunity to raise money through his drama department, so he quickly turned what as going to be a festival of student written plays into a fundraiser for Joplin High School.
The one night only event will be this coming Monday, June 6, at 7:30 PM in the Shannon Theatre at Fremont High School. 1279 Sunnyvale Saratoga Road, Sunnyvale, CA. All seats are only $5.
