A skateboarder and comedian by the name of Donovan Strain (https://twitter.com/#!/donovanstrain) from MURKAVENUE.TUMBLR.COM decided he had to figure out the exact day that Ice Cube was rapping about 20 years ago with his classic, “It was a Good Day.” And he did! Curious?

Here is how he figured it out:

FACT: Yo MTV RAPS first aired: Aug 6th 1988

CLUE 2: Ice Cube’s single “Today Was A Good Day” was released on Feb 23 1993
