[lastfm link_type="artist_info"]M.I.A.[/lastfm] didn’t just piss off NBC, The NFL, and all of the millions of families watching the Super Bowl, but now we know that [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Madonna[/lastfm]‘s pretty pissed at her too!

Madonna’s Super Bowl performance was definitely the highlight of the game! One very, very big highlight was M.I.A.’s middle finger, which everyone was talking about! Well in a recent interview Madonna has expressed her feelings on the situation.

Here’s what Madonna had to say about it:

I understand it’s punk rock and everything, but to me there was such a feeling of love and good energy, and positivity it seemed negative. It’s such a teenager…irrelevant thing to do…there was such a feeling of love and unity there what was the point? It was just out of place.”

Madonna definitely does not want to take the blame for that one! Poor Madge, she put so much into her performance, but one things for sure no one will forget it now! Do you think M.I.A. was doing too much?? Or should Madonna go a little easier on M.I.A??
