The Chris Brown and Miranda Lambert feud is getting heated! The country singer put the troubled R&B singer on blast during her concert at the University of Massachusetts Amherst this week after tweeting her disdain for Chris’ past actions. She took it one step further and sent a very clear anti-domestic violence message.
During her show, Miranda noticed a fan holding up a sign that said, “Take Notes Chris Brown.” She asked the fan to pass the sign to her onstage prior to singing her song “Gunpowder and Lead” – a track about a woman who is getting ready to kill her abusive husband.
“Get a good picture now, put it on Twitter,” said Miranda as she held the poster. “I’ve been in a world of hurt with Chris Brown fans lately… but see, I just have to speak my mind because where I come from beating up on a woman is never okay.” Then before breaking into the song she threw one last good verbal jab: “So that’s why my daddy taught me early on in life how to use a shotgun.” Ouch!
