The past 24 hours have been very eventful for party rockers LMFAO. It all began last night when group members Red Foo and SkyBlu were on the way to their scheduled American Idol performance.

Starting the night off on the right foot, the two of them ate at their favorite restaurant, Wahoo’s. They even tweeted a photo of themselves at the popular LA eatery.

After they finished eating, they were on their way to their performance on Idol. Earlier this morning B96/Chicago reported, “Yesterday we told you how LMFAO might be in a bit of a tiff because there are arguments over who makes more money and who has more gigs. They are having an even worse day after yesterday. Right before they performed on American Idol, they were served with a $7 million lawsuit. Their old management company said that they brought them from 0-60 within a matter of months, and they deserve a lot more money than they got from the band. LMFAO fired them shortly after they got all this fame, and that company wants the money.”

This little bump in the road didn’t affect their live performance on Idol. LMFAO owned the stage with their most recent single “Sorry For Party Rocking.” They turned the television studio into the coolest party ever, with neon ensembles, dancers, smoke machines and lasers.

After a night full of ups and downs, LFMAO has something to be proud about today. They have been nominated for 17 Billboard Music Awards. Perez Hilton already posted the story and congratulated them via Twitter.

They have been confirmed to perform during the live broadcast on May 20th. Adele received the most BMA nods (18), but only beat LMFAO by one nomination.
