Rihanna loves to Tweet photos of what goes on in her life. So back in March when she posted pictures from a family party she threw for her Grandma Dolly– everyone loved seeing that side of her. Unfortunately, Rihanna got word over the weekend that her Grandma had passed while she was getting ready for a show in Sweden.

RiRi and her Grandma Dolly were very close and she called her Gran Gran. Luckily, she was able to spend time with her in the hospital before she left to do her show overseas.

Rihanna Tweeted, “Goodbye #grangranDOLLY, get your beauty rest until I see you.” She even posted more pics on InstaGram of her beloved Gran Gran.

Chris Brown Tweeted, “Praying for family and the lost of a loved one. She was like my grandmother. Love you GRAN GRAN! RIP.” Even Chris’ Mom Tweeted Rihanna to send her condolences saying, “ANGEL MAY GOD BE WITH YOU AND YOUR FAMILY IN YOUR TIME OF SORROW. LOVE YOU ANGEL.” RiRi did manage to Tweet her back and say, “thanks you! Love u mama.”
