Celebrate National Lollypop Day with See’s Candies by stopping by any See’s today for a free lollypop. See’s will also showcase the biggest lollypop in the world at 7,000 pounds in Justin Herman Plaza. They will also be giving out more free lollypops, showcase vintage cars and a motorbike, as well as music by the Stanford Jazz Workshop.

East Bay SPCA Adoptathon

Jack London Square, Oakland
The East Bay SPCA is hosting its annual Adoptathon and will feature more than 300 adoptable animals from 35 Bay Area rescue groups and shelters. Visitors will meet cats, dogs, rabbits, birds, and reptiles available for adoption, and can enjoy a variety of activities such as arts and crafts for kids, get behavior advice at an “Ask the Trainer” booth, watch dog training demonstrations, and browse 13 local animal supply vendors.
