Justin Bieber – As Long As You Love Me
After achieving an enormous amount of success with his latest single, Boyfriend, Justin Bieber is finally gearing up to release As Long As You Love Me, the second single from his latest album, Believe. Continuing on with his newfound mature sound, As Long As You Love Me finds Justin singing about the pressure and risks of love. The instrumental, which boasts a much heavier, dubstep-influenced beat, is also new territory for the 18-year old singer.

With production by Rodney Jerkins (Mariah Carey, Lady GaGa) and a featured rap verse from Big Sean (see Dance, feat. Nicki Minaj), this song packs some serious crossover potential. Bieber just recently released a minute preview for the music video, giving fans a taste of the dramatic new clip. Austin Mahone – Say Somethin’
At first glance, it’s easy to compare Austin Mahone’s career trajectory to Justin Bieber’s. After gaining an enormous following on YouTube for his musical covers of Chris Brown, Bruno Mars and Bieber’s music, Austin has amassed a dedicated fanbase of over 900,000 Twitter followers and counting! And while Mahone isn’t formally backed by a label just yet, his music and image is already starting to saturate the teen-pop industry.

Austin’s newest single Say Somethin’ is just a taste of what we’ll be hearing from the 16-year old singer in the near future. The song is a super-catchy ode to teen summer romances, with a big chorus and laid back vocals. If you like what you hear, you can catch Austin performing at 99.7 NOW’s Summer Splash Concert this August! Also, make sure to give him some love in the voting poll below if you think Say Somethin’ is going to overtake Bieber and Maynard this summer!

Conor Maynard – Vegas Girl
Last but not least, we’ve got another brand new artist who is poised to challenge Bieber’s reign over teen pop. Hailing from the UK, Conor Maynard has already enjoyed quite a bit of success overseas with his first two singles. After gaining notoriety on YouTube (almost 70 million views!) and catching the attention of Ne-Yo and Pharrell Williams, Conor is finally making his way over the states with his debut single, Vegas Girl.

Unlike the other songs listed today, Vegas Girl is a total club anthem, with a modern dance beat, party-themed lyrics, and a bridge/chorus that’s built perfectly for the dancefloor. The sound is distinctly Maynard’s, which gives us confidence that he’ll be sticking around for quite awhile.
