Skrillex to Help a Bay Area Kid with His Make-A-Wish Dream

By Alyssa Pereira

Skrillex is getting to be a real stand-up guy. On the heels of announcing a brand new record label, called Nest, that will release music for free, Skrillex has teamed up with the Bay Area chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation to help make a child’s dream come true.

The same organization that brought the city of San Francisco the fuzzy heart-warming goodness that is BatKid  is now enlisting the help of the world-renowned DJ to make a 17 year-old’s dream a reality. This teen, who would like to remain anonymous, wants to do a DJ set with Skrillex to help raise funds to benefit cancer research.

Make-A-Wish confirmed to the Bold Italic that Skrillex has already agreed to devote his time, and the Foundation hopes to provide the teen with DJ Lessons and Equipment before the introduction to the artist.
