If you’ve got the day off today, listen up.
According to The Bold Italic, a super rich dude or lady who made a lot of money in the San Francisco real estate market is going around to various places in San Francisco today and dropping money in random locations.
Sound too good to be true? We’re not sure yet, but at the time of this posting, at least 200 people following the Twitter account that popped up in collusion with the mystery real estate mogul believe it’s real. The account @hiddencash is posting where they’re dropping the cash and encouraging the finders to tweet to the handle when it’s discovered.

Bold Italic did a quick Q & A with the samaritan, who addressed his distress with the wealth disparity in San Francisco, saying, “I’ve made millions of dollars the last few years, more than I ever imagined, and yet many friends of mine, and people who work for me, cannot afford to buy a modest home in the Bay Area.”
“This has caused me quite a bit of reflection. I am determined to give away some of the money I make, and in addition to charity, to do it in fun, creative ways like this.”
